Life will be Sweet on Cherry Street Construction Update Workers from D&G Concrete Construction, Inc. and other contractors completed the following work on the Cherry Street reconstruction project last week: â�?¢ Turning lane Highway 19 south. â�?¢ Watermain Plum Street to Norbeck Street. â�?¢ Removals to Plum Street. â�?¢ Permanant fence on Highway 50 ramp reconstruct. Work planned for May 27-30: â�?¢ Water main testing and services from Plum Street to Norbeck Street. â�?¢ Storm sewer from Plum Street to Norbeck Street. â�?¢ Hauling borrow to east ramp construction. â�?¢ Temporary signals at Plum Street. Miscellaneous: â�?¢ Speed limit is 25 mph through the construction project. Speeding violations are and will continue to be issued during the construction season by the Vermillion Police Department. Speed violation fines double in work zone. â�?¢ Do not add, remove or relocate barrels, barricades, signs, temporary business signs, etc. on the construction site. If concerns arise, please contact D&G Concrete Construction or the DOT for evaluation. â�?¢ Temporary driveways are being constructed.
