Ticknor honored for exeptional service

Ticknor honored for exeptional service Audrey Ticknor, RDH, MA received the 2008 South Dakota Dental Association (SDDA) Award of Commendation for exceptional service to the dental profession at the SDDA 125th Annual Session held May 15-17 in Sioux Falls. The theme of this yearâ�?�?s annual meeting was â�?�?Tradition of Service.â�? Audreyâ�?�?s career of clinician, prison hygienist, dental hygiene educator, state and national association officer, committee volunteer member, regional board examiner, and secretary/treasurer for the SD State Board of Dentistry were highlighted as she was presented the award at the SDDA Membership Lunch. She credits her father for instilling the value of service to oneâ�?�?s community and profession but also stated her vibrant dental career was assisted by the guidance, support, friendship, and employment opportunities provided to her by many fine South Dakota dentists. Audrey and her husband, Don, live in Vermillion.
