Upward Bound announces summer food service The University of South Dakota announces the sponsorship of the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be served to all eligible Math and Science Initiative and Upward Bound program participants. The USD Math and Science Initiative and Upward Bound programs will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner to students at the Commons Dining Hall on campus. Students who attend Upward Bound will be on campus from June 2 through July 10. Upward Bound, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, is designed to improve motivation and academic skills of high school students in preparation for success in post-secondary education.
