USD exhibition ��?Washed Away��? showing at W.H. Over Museum Jessica Grage��?s and Cole Zdenek��?s Bachelor of Fine Arts graduation exhibition, ��?Washed Away,� is on exhibit at Sletwold Hall in the W.H. Over Museum located on the USD Campus, April 28-May 10. A public reception for the artists is May 9 from 7 to 9 p.m. The show features their artwork from USD. Grage is an art education major with a photography emphasis from Marcus, Iowa. Her work includes a variety of nature related imagery, especially close-up shots of plant life. She used traditional black and white photography along with hand-applied emulsions to portray her ideas. Grage��?s future plans include finding a job teaching art and exploring timed exposures in nature. Zdenek is a fine art major with an emphasis in photography from Sioux Falls. His works are also done using hand-painted emulsions. He also applies paint, colored pencils and writings. His works are visual experiments that tell a narrative about the struggles of man and nature. Zdenek��?s plans include graduate school.
