USD��?s Maloney finishes third in 10,000-meter run at Drake Relays Kelsey Maloney of The University of South Dakota women��?s track and field squad had a personal-best and finished third in the women��?s 10,000-meter run at the Drake Relays on Thursday afternoon at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, IA. Maloney, a sophomore from Sioux Falls, had a clocking of 37:04.09, which is also provisional qualifying mark for the NCAA Division II outdoor nationals. This was the first time that Maloney had participated in the 10,000-meter run as a Coyote. She finished behind only Kinsey Farren of Missouri (36:54.70) and Amanda Domich of Loyola (37:01.41). USD��?s Tyler Wetering, a senior from Sioux Falls, finished eighth in the men��?s 1,500-meter run on Thursday night. He clocked a 3:56.94 in the race which was won by Leyden Tolhurst of Drake (3:51.21).
