Check It Out By: Anne Marshall Vermillion Public Library Go BUGGY & Catch the Reading Bug at VPL �? �? �? �? �? �? �? �? �? �? �? �?  Mr. Twister will visit the library featuring a buggy balloon show at 1:30 p.m. on June 30 with Deron Ruesch and the Worm Tunnel starting at 2:15 p.m. Buggy Arts & Crafts are offered on Tuesday, July 1 starting at 1:30 p.m. Children under five years old must be accompanied by an adult. The video Pinocchio will play on Wednesday, July 2 beginning at 1:30 p.m.�? This film runs for 88 minutes. The Book Beetles Reading Club is scheduled for Thursday, July 3 at 1:30 p.m.�? This group is age appropriate for first and second grades students.�? There will be a book discussions and â�?�?read-out-loudsâ�? as a group.�? Reading out loud is encouraged but not required. No registration is necessary for this program. The Reading Arachnids Club, for third through fifth graders is on Thursday, July 10 starting at 3 p.m. Registration is required and space is limited.�? Please call ahead to see if there is an opening at 677-7060. Arthropod Adventures is a program for children going on vacation. Participants may check out an insect buddy to take with them on their trip. The stuffed insect includes a special postcard the child may mail back to the library to tell us about their adventure.�? The insects will also be available for â�?�?adoptionâ�? at the Closing Party in July. An adult computer class, Introduction to EBay, Facebook, and YouTube, is scheduled for Thursday, July 3 in the morning and evening.�? This class will familiarize participants with social and commercial networks. The library will be closed on Friday, July 4 and Saturday, July 5 in honor of Independence Day.�? It will reopen on Monday, July 7 at 10 a.m.�? Materials may be returned to the book and A/V drops located on the south side of the building by the entrance to the parking lot.
