City council meets June 16

City council meets June 16 The Vermillion City Council will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, June 16, in SD Public Broadcasting Studio, 555 N. Dakota St., Vermillion. Under new business, the council will take action on a resolution establishing permit fees for permanent, nonpermanent, and portable signs. It will also consider street closure requests for the USD Summer Commencement, and for the SUKC Dog Show at the fairgrounds. The council will also be asked to grant a July 4 fireworks permit for Vermillion Chamber of Commerce/Development Company.
