Contractor to expedite Meridian Bridge repair work

Contractor to expedite Meridian Bridge repair work Cramer and Associates, Inc. from Grimes, IA, started the repairs of the Meridian Bridge on Monday, June 2, according to the Nebraska Department of Roads. Some of the repairs will necessitate temporary closure of the bridge. Closure is scheduled for June 9 and could be as long as 10 days. The Nebraska Roads Department and the South Dakota Department of Transportation are working together to expedite the repairs and provide safe traffic control for all motorists. The repair work is expected to take three to four weeks.
