Crofton Senior Citizen garden tour is June 14 The Crofton Senior Citizens Center will sponsor the second annual Lawn and Garden Tour this Saturday, June 14. The event last year was so great successful and enjoyable, the senior members decided to give it another go around ��? around the town of Crofton that is. Five Crofton area residences have generously invited the Center to stop at their carefully tended lawns and gardens but this is a morning activity for the energetic-minded tourists. An 8 a.m. start is set at the Crofton Senior Center on Saturday morning and for a $10 fee, tour guests will receive a booklet with a map and locations of the featured lawns and gardens. The transportation can be varied as cars can be driven, walking to the selected spots is also an option or golf carts will be provided this year and driven by volunteers for those needing that type of transportation. The final stop will be the Northside Park where a light luncheon will be served by senior citizen members and friends.
