Gayville Hall celebrates Williams

Gayville Hall celebrates Williams Gayville Hall presents�? â�?�?A Celebration of Hank Williams,â�?�? starring John and Susan McNeill, Owen DeJong and Nick Schwebach, on Saturday, June 14, at 8 p.m. in Gayville.�?  The show was originally created by John McNeill�? and performed by the quartet seven years ago after Gayville Hallâ�?�?s first three concerts�? of�? jazz, Dixieland, and pop failed to�? draw crowds large enough to sustain the fledgling music venue.�? Do a Hank Williams tribute,�? McNeill suggested. The show produced a full house and�? proved�? a great success.�? More than 50 would-be patrons had to be turned away at the door, according to proprietor Doug Sharples.�? The hall�? has�? since�? staged the show more than a dozen times�? in Gayville and on the road.
