Life Will Be Sweet on Cherry Street Construction Update Workers from D&G Concrete Construction, Inc. and other contractors completed the following work on the Cherry Street reconstruction project last week: â�?¢ Gravel Plum St. to Jefferson St. â�?¢ Concrete paving, curb and gutter, approaches and sidewalk from Plum St. to 450' East. â�?¢ Water main testing and services from Norbeck St. to Crawford Rd. â�?¢ Street light conduit from Plum St. east to Jefferson St. â�?¢ Sanitary sewer crossing east to Norbeck St. â�?¢ Restriping Hwy. 19â�?�?s south turn lane. Work planned for next week includes: â�?¢ Water main testing and services from Norbeck St. to Crawford Rd. â�?¢ Storm sewer from Jefferson St. to Norbeck St. â�?¢ Concrete paving, curb and gutter, approaches and sidewalk from Plum St. to Jefferson St. Miscellaneous: â�?¢ As concrete paving begins, expect limited access for short periods. â�?¢ Speed limit is 25 mph through the construction project. Speeding violations are and will continue to be issued during the construction season by the Vermillion Police Depar-tment. Speed violation fines double in work zone. â�?¢ Do not add, remove or relocate barrels, barricades, signs, temporary business signs, etc. on the construction site. If concerns arise, please contact D&G Concrete Construction or the DOT for evaluation. â�?¢ Temporary driveways are being constructed.
