Local student makes dean��?s list St. Cloud State University has announced the names of 1,525 students whose academic achievement placed them on the spring semester dean��?s list. To be eligible for the honor, students must have a grade point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Among them is Morgan Hollingsworth of Vermillion. SCSU offers its 17,000 students 175 majors, minors and pre-professional programs in business, education, fine arts and humanities, science and engineering and social sciences, along with 50 master��?s degrees through its School of Graduate Studies. The university has one of the strongest international programs in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system; has one of three business colleges in Minnesota nationally accredited at the undergraduate and graduate level; and is the 15th largest producer of new educators in the country. St. Cloud State University is located 70 miles northwest of the Twin Cities along the oak-crowned banks of the Mississippi River.
