Singing convention scheduled Sunday The Southeastern South Dakota Singing Convention will hold their quarterly songfest at the United Methodist Church in Beresford this coming Sunday, June 29 at 2 p.m. The church is located at 47106 298th St. The Singing Convention is a nondenominational effort to preserve our heritage of singing hymns and Southern Gospel Style songs in four part harmony. Everyone is encouraged to come join in the singing from a hymnal with over a thousand favorite selections. The convention is accompanied by several accomplished pianists who follow the convention as the group moves from church to church across the southeastern part of South Dakota.
