Thomas Kronaizl Thomas F. Kronaizl, 87, died Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Funeral services were 11 a.m., Thursday, June 26 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Vermillion with Fr. Rod Farke officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Vermillion. Visitation was one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church. Thomas was born in Utica March 3, 1921 to Joseph and Sophia (Kortan) Kronaizl. He married Bernadine Fischer on May 28, 1955 at Holy Family Church in New Mellery, Iowa. Thomas farmed in the Vermillion area for several years before moving to Iowa. He worked in the maintenance department at St. Joseph��?s Hospital and Marion Health until his retirement in 1988, and then moved to Sioux Falls. He is survived by his wife, Bernadine of Dubuque, IA; b rothers, James (Barbara) Kronaizl, Stanley (Maureen) Kronaizl and Henry (Jewell) Kronaizl, all of Vermillion; sister, Lillian (Rudy) Abild of Phoenix, AZ; brother-in-law, Al Graceffa of Rockford, IL; sister-in-law, Judy Kronaizl of Vermillion; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Sophia Kronaizl; brothers, Adolph, Joseph Jr. and Steven; sisters, Marie Graceffa and Helen Jones.
