Avera O'Brien Physical Therapy Clinic to offer two-day speed and strength training for coaches Hall of Fame strength and conditioning coach Boyd Epley will be the featured speaker at a two-day speed and strength training camp for high school coaches Saturday and Sunday, July 26-27 at the Summit Activities Center. The event, sponsored by the Avera O��?Brien Physical Therapy Clinic, is free for area coaches with only a $15 charge for the training manual. The cost of tuition is being paid for by the Benedictine Health Foundation. Epley, the former Nebraska Cornhuskers��? weight coach, will help coaches ��?Learn the Fastest Way to Improve Speed and Agility Scores for Athletes.� Saturday��?s session runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. with focus areas on talent identification, metabolic circuit, and ��?Four Steps to Success.� Sunday��?s program runs from 8 a.m. to noon with the Xplosive Edge Philosophy (Maximizing Athletic Performance), injury prevention and weight room sessions being the main topics. This program is available to the first 40 high school coaches to register.
