City council meets July 21

City council meets July 21 The Vermillion City Council will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, July 21, in the Al Neuharth Medica Center on The University of South Dakota campus. Under new business, aldermen will consider a request from the Vermillion Fire Department Association to construct a garage on city-owned property. It will also take action on a contract with the Vermillion School District for use of a recycling trailer. The council will also consider requests for closing a portion of High Street Aug. 7-9 for the Clay County Fair, and a portion of Main Street on July 23 for the Tri-State Cruisers Car Show.
