hold June meeting Yankton Area Christian Writers met June 23, with the president, Joy Winther presiding. The opening self-written devotion and prayer were given by Doris Sprecher.�? The March and April minutes were read by the secretary, Elaine Steffen, and approved. �? (There was no meeting in May.) Elaine gave the program â�?�? Lesson 5 â�?�? from Ethel Herrâ�?�?s book, An Introduction to Christian Writing.�?  Elaineâ�?�?s presentation, Part I, was entitled â�?�?Can I Stick With Itâ�? and the application Part II, â�?�?Finding and Using Ideas.â�? She provided useful information regarding the creative writing cycle, excuses, giving writing a top priority, rewriting, and concentrating. The next meeting will be Monday, July 28, 7 p.m., Calvary Baptist Church, 1700 Burleigh, Yankton.�?  The program on â�?�?How Do I Plan My Work Area and Equipmentâ�? and�? â�?�?Writing the Personal Experience Story,â�? will be given by Arda Hoffman.�? Guests are welcome.�? Questions?�? Call 665-3140.
