Damon garners writing awards Paula Damon, director of marketing and communications at Briar Cliff Univer-sity, garnered two second place awards and one third-place award in the 2008 South Dakota Press Women Communica-tions Contest. Winning entries in the competition were selected from Damonâ�?�?s weekly column, â�?�?My Story Your Story.â�? Judges evaluated her work in three categories: informational, general and humorous.
