Tracy awarded scholarship

Tracy awarded scholarship Melissa Tracy of Vermillion was awarded the Honors Scholarship for the 2008-2009 school year at South Dakota State University. Melissa is an incoming freshman majoring in civil engineering at SDSU this fall. She is the daughter of Dan and Ann Tracy of Vermillion and is a 2008 graduate of the Vermillion High School, where she was active in band, Teens in Ministry (TIMs) and youth bowling league. Honors Scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen that have demonstrated strong academic achievements, extracurricular involvement and leadership skills.
