begin closing early Effective Monday, July 28, and until further notice, the Clay County Treasurerâ�?�?s Office will be closing to customers at 4:30 p.m.�?  On July 1, the state of South Dakota implemented a new motor vehicle system that has been�? creating issues in county treasurerâ�?�?s offices across the state.�? Problems�? with the new motor vehicle system�? has created a backlog of other work that the treasurerâ�?�?s office is responsible for.�?  The state Department of Motor Vehicles and BIT are working diligently to solve the issues with the new system so we�? anticipate this early closing to be very temporary.�? We thank you for your patience and understanding and hope that it will be business as usual in a very short time.
