Vermillion Public Library Upcoming Activities Fall Story Time registration for toddlers and preschoolers will open soon.�?  The Story Time sessions will start at the beginning of September. The One Book South Dakota program will hold its book discussion on Sept. 21, from 3-5 p.m., at the library.�?  The book for September is The Master Butchers Singing Club, by Louise Erdrich.�?  This story is about love, death, and redemption for a German immigrant and his wife.�? They settle in Argus, ND and set up a meat shop. The author has crafted each character with a distinct and multifaceted personality, making this novel both intimate and thought-provoking.�? Copies of the book are available at the end of August. The Vermillion Library Book Club will meet in October. The book for discussion will be The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, by Carson McCullers.�?  More information will be available in October.
