Coyote women��?s soccer falls to Nebraska in exhibition contest The University of South Dakota, under the direction of first-year head coach Marcia Oliveira, opened the 2008 season Aug. 14 facing Nebraska in an exhibition game played in Vermillion. In the first meeting between the two schools, Nebraska came out on top with a 7-0 victory over USD. The Huskers scored two goals in the first half and then added five in the second, with four of the second half goals coming in the last nine minutes of play. The Coyotes, who went 7-10-3 overall last season, had five shots on goal. Erin Bello and Sarah Halbach each had two shots on goal while Sami Spokas added one. South Dakota finished the game with 11 total shots.
