scheduled Sept. 10 â�?�?Are we ready for the new Cold War?â�? will be the topic of the Sept. 10 (noon) International Forum sponsored by the USD School of Business at Farber Hall). Panelists include Dr. Don Pryce (Russian history), Dr. Tim Schorn (political science and presently in Uzbekistan) and LTC Damian Donahoe (military science). Moderator will be Dr. Benno Wymar, professor emeritus of economics. Which country will Russian invade next? The Ukraine, where Russiaâ�?�?s Black Sea Navy is located, or Poland, where it opposes United States missiles being located? Could the invasion into Georgia have been prevented? Would NATO membership protect these nations? How can they and Western Europe do without Russian oil and natural gas? Would reinstituting the military draft send Russia a strong message? These and other issues will be addressed.
