Lawrence W. Riehle Lawrence W. Riehle Lawrence Wilbur Riehle, 84, of Burbank, died Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at Sanford Vermillion Hospital. He was born Nov. 22,1923 in Loveland, OH to Clemence Edward and Vina Irene (Harkness) Riehle. He graduated from University High School in Vermillion. He farmed for over 50 years. He was a charter member of F.O.E. He married Evelyn Smith Hays on Dec. 24,1957 in Luverne, MN. He loved bowling and fishing and attending bowling and fishing tournaments. He also loved stock car racing. He was a very hard worker, willing to help neighbors with anything they needed. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn of Burbank; a stepson, Dennis (Helen) Hays of Burbank; three sisters, Lois (Harold) Chartier of Sioux City, IA, and Shirley Riehle and Adeline Issacson, both of Vermillion; a brother, Larry Riehle of Rapid City; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clemence and Vina (Harkness) Riehle; a step-son, Larry Hays;�? a brother, Edward; and two sisters, Cleo Haakinson, and Mary Cusick. Funeral services were 2 p.m. on Aug. 4, at First Baptist Church, Vermillion, with Rev. Elmer (Sandy) Aakre officiating. Burial will be in Bluff View Cemetery at a later date.�?
