Plan to attend Coyote luncheons in Vermillion Ed Meierkort, head coach of The University of South Dakota football team, and his staff will be at C.J. Callawayâ�?�?s every Monday night during the fall season for the â�?�?Coyote Coaches Corner.â�? The first Coaches Corner will be Monday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m., in Sioux Falls. Each week at the Coyote Coaches Corner, Meierkort and his staff will review the previous weekâ�?�?s game by breaking down game film, and also preview the upcoming opponent. USD athletics invites all Coyote supporters and media to come and enjoy hors dâ�?�?oeuvres and beverages while visiting with the coaches. There will not be a Coaches Corner on Sept. 1 due to Labor Day. Starting Wednesday, Aug. 27, and running every Wednesday throughout the athletic season, the athletic department will be hosting â�?�?Coyote Luncheonsâ�? in Vermillion. The first luncheon (Aug. 27) will be held at noon at the Coyote Landing in the DakotaDome. After Aug. 27 and throughout the 2008-09 athletic season, the luncheons will be held at Al Neuharth Media Center on the USD campus. The luncheons will feature Coyote coaches and student-athletes. The coaches and athletes will provide updates on past competitions and previews of upcoming events. The athletic department would like to invite all Coyote supporters, USD staff, Vermillion residents and businesses to join us every Wednesday at noon throughout the year for a catered meal and opportunity to hear from the coaches and student-athletes. Cost is $7 per person. The following dates will not hold the Coyote Luncheon: Nov. 26, Dec. 24 and Dec. 31.
