Serious fun Rollie French, 2-year-old son of Jenny and Tom French of Vermillion, was all business Tuesday as a colorful racing tattoo was applied to his face during National Night Out activities at Prentis Park. He cheered up considerably, however, after discovering that applying the temporary artwork to his face was a painless procedure. National Night Out, which involveslocal citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic businesses and neighborhood organizations, is an annual event designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs and strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships. Activities included a dunk tank, and a wide assortment of kid-related activities, including train rides, a lollipop tree, hole in one golf, a fishing pond, a dinosaur egg dig, a wheel and a jumping castle.
