W.E.L.L. golfers July 23 was a rainy evening and day. Nevertheless, the women of W.E.L.L. were undaunted in their quest to spend a joyful evening golfing at The Bluffs. Having another stellar round was Jenny Chandler with the low gross score for the week of 37. Jenny had the only birdie of the evening, shooting a 3 on hole #16. Also having a great evening was the low net golfer, Jessie Freeling. Jessie had a net score of 32 (57-25). For the second week in a row Mary Vlasman won the Quackson drawing. Your reporter was actually absent for the festivities this evening. It was reported that there were a number of funny events during the course of the rounds payed. However, none could be recalled when the data was being recorded. I am not sure what that says about the lubrication of those doing the reporting! A golfer has one advantage over a fisherman. He doesn��?t have to produce anything to prove his story
