Life Will Be Sweet On Cherry Street Construction Update Workers from D&G Concrete Construction, Inc. and other contractors completed the following work on the Cherry Street reconstruction project last week: â�?¢ Concrete curb and gutter, paving â�?�? Plum Street to Ratingen Street. â�?¢ Grading, removals â�?�? Ratingen Street to Dakota Street south side. â�?¢ Street Lights â�?�? Jefferson Street to Crawford Road. Work planned for next week includes: â�?¢ Curb and gutter and concrete paving â�?�? Ratingen Street to Dakota Street. â�?¢ Approaches, sidewalk â�?�? Plum Street to Ratingen Street. Miscellaneous: â�?¢ A flagger with a â�?�?SLOWâ�? sign will be on the job while the crew is working in possibly dangerous conditions. Please slow down during these few times (yes, slower than 25 mph). â�?¢ As concrete paving begins, expect limited access. â�?¢ Speed limit is 25 mph through the construction project. Speeding violations are and will continue to be issued during the construction season by the Vermillion Police Department. Speed violation fines double in work zone. â�?¢ Do not add, remove or relocate barrels, barricades, signs, temporary business signs, etc. on the construction site. If concerns arise, please contact D&G Concrete Construction or the DOT for evaluation. â�?¢ Temporary driveways are being constructed.
