Meet and greet rescued animals at Akron People for Pets, SD,�? will host a â�?�?Meet and Greetâ�? with rescued animals at Akron Veterinary Clinic�? on Saturday, Sept. 20, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.�? This is an opportunity to meet some of the pets which are now available for adoption or foster through�? People for Pets, SD, a non-profit animal rescue organization which accepts rescues from local shelters, individuals and networking with other rescue organizations nationally. Akron Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Thompson and his staff, invite you to visit the clinic�? to meet with the pets and rescue volunteers.�? Akron Veterinary Clinic is our organizationâ�?�?s regular healthcare provider for these animals and has generously offered�? the use of the�? area behind the clinic�? for the â�?�?Meet and Greetâ�? event. Visitors are welcome to pet, brush�? and exercise the animals and, if interested,�? apply for their adoption.�?  People for Petsâ�?�? Coordinator, Julie Rae Hammontree, will be available to share the history of each animal and explain the�? adoption process.
