falls to IUPUI Friday The University of South Dakota soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss to Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in Indianapolis, IN. The Coyotes now post a 3-5-0 overall record while IUPUI improves to 3-3-0 on the season. The Jaguars got off to a quick start scoring its first goal in the first minute of the game off a free kick, 14 yards out. The Coyotes then held IUPUI scoreless until the 60th minute of play. But the Jaguars took advantage again scoring the second goal at 60:20 and then quickly added the third goal at the 61:26 mark. USD recorded three shots on goal in the game as Michelle Marshall (So., Des Moines, IA) had two shots on goal and Rheannon Hotvet (Fr., Savage, MN) added one. IUPUI finished the game with nine shots on goal. Jen Ogren (So., Raymore, MO) played 55 minutes in goal and had three saves while allowing one goal. Ann Opsahl (Sr., Yankton) charted 35 minutes in goal with three saves as well.
