Vermillion boys? soccer bound for Black Hills By Parker Knox
Sports Writer The Vermillion High boys? soccer team won?t complain if this weekend?s road trip to the Black Hills is as successful as last weekend was. The Tanagers made the first of two consecutive trips to the West River country over the Labor Day weekend and came home with a 1-1 tie against St. Thomas More and a 5-0 victory over Douglas.? Those results give Vermillion a 2-1-1 record after the first two weeks of the season. This weekend?s opponents will be Sturgis on Friday night and Belle Fourche on Saturday afternoon. Next weekend the Tanagers play James Valley Christian in Huron on Friday night before finally getting to play at home on Saturday, Sept. 13, against Sioux Falls Christian.
