Veterans resource center plans dinner The Veterans Resource Center, located at 840 E. Cherry St. in Vermillion, is facilitating an informational and fundraiser dinner on Thursday, Sept. 25 as a means to sustain and continue to grow our center. The event will consist of a barbecue by an award-winning cook, as part of the efforts to realize a two-to-one matching grant with a goal of $50,000.00. The Veterans Resource Center is a learning organization committed to strength-ening the lives of veterans, their families, and the community; serving individuals in Northwest Iowa, Nebraska, and the greater South Dakota area.
