The book is sponsored by the Clay County Historical Society, Inc., for the Sesquicentennial Celebration in 2009. Refreshments will be served. Everyone is welcome to attend. â�?¢ Coyote Luncheon/Vermillion QB Club at the USD Neuharth Center on Wednesday, Oct. 8 from 12-1 p.m. The program includes speakers from USD and VHS on featured sports. â�?¢ Catered lunch for $7.�? Everyone welcome! â�?¢ National Music Museumâ�?�?s Brown Bag Lunch Program will feature the folk music ensemble Suale from Siauliai University, Siauliai, Lithuania performing Voices from the Baltics on Friday, Oct. 10 from 12:05-12:55 p.m.�? The Brown Bag Lunch programs are free and open to the public. â�?¢ Vermillion Area Arts Councilâ�?�?s 18th Annual Chili Blues Cook-Off is Saturday, Oct. 11 starting at 6 p.m. at the Washington Street Arts Center on 202 S. Washington St. Chili Blues guests will taste samples and vote for the â�?�?Peopleâ�?�?s Choiceâ�? award.�? Judges will vote on the â�?�?Judges Choiceâ�? award. The classic jazz quintet, Jazz Portraits will entertain. Admittance to the event and all food is $15 for adults, $5 for children ages 11-18 and free for children ages 10 and under. â�?¢ Dakota Days, Oct. 10-11. The 94th annual parade will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11.
