Clubs and Organizations 4-Hâ�?�?ers give demonstrations The Meckling Livestock 4-H Club met Sept. 29 at the 4-H Building. After the pledges, our roll call topic was your favorite subject in school. In old business we discussed the county and state fairs. In new business we worked on thank yous for fair donations, discussed the 4-H dog classes, our Dakota Days float, National 4-H Week plans and the 4-H Recognition Event. Next month we will hold officer elections and discuss our goals and plans for next year. Demonstrations were given by Elly Miiller, â�?�?How to Trim a Dog for Showmanship;â�? Audrey Miiller, â�?�?How to Trim Dog Toenails;â�? Maddie Oâ�?�?Connor, â�?�?Corn on the Cob Cupcakes;â�? Blaine Bottolfson, â�?�?Paper Airplanes;â�? Becca Hawley, â�?�?National Wild Turkey Federation;â�? Seth Heine, â�?�?Chocolate Chip Cookies;â�? Kelsy Fallan and Megan Bottolfson, â�?�?Officer Training.â�? We will meet later in the week to begin working on our D-Days float.
