Fans encouraged to vote for former Coyote Fans are being encouraged to vote for former Coyote Stefan Logan, a former standout running back for The University of South Dakota football team, who is on the ballot for the Canadian Football Leagueâ�?�?s All-Star team. Coyote fans are encouraged to cast their votes for Logan by logging on to www.cflallstars.com. Logan, who plays for the CFLâ�?�?s British Columbia Lions, is on the West Division ballot. Logan, who is USDâ�?�?s all-time leading rusher with 5,958 yards, is in his first season in the CFL. Heâ�?�?s had a stellar season in helping the Lions to wrap up a CFL playoff berth, rushing for 700 yards on 101 carries while catching 40 passes for 348 yards and two touchdowns.�? The Lions are 9-5 so far this season. The first round of All-Star ballot voting will go through Nov. 1 and will determine the CFL Division All-Stars. The second round of voting takes place from Nov. 3-7 and will determine the CFL League Wide All-Stars. Logan had an outstanding career at USD, where he played from 2003-06. In addition to being the Coyotesâ�?�? all-time leading rusher, Logan also is the schoolâ�?�?s all-time leader in all-purpose yardage (7,859) and is fifth all-time in scoring with 210 points off of 35 career touchdowns. Logan owns 13 career records at USD and was a 2006 finalist for the Harlon Hill Trophy. He holds the single game all-time rushing mark as well with 295 yards vs. Truman State in 2005. Logan is also a leading candidate for CFL Rookie of the Year honors. His primary competition for that honor is another former North Central Conference athlete, former University of North Dakota standout Weston Dressler.
