Healing Touch class offered Avera Sacred Heart Pastoral Care and Avera Education & Staffing Solutions are pleased to present Healing Touch Level 1 on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 24 and 25.�?  The program will be in the Professional Office Pavilion and Education Center on the Avera Sacred Heart Campus from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Healing Touch is a complementary energy therapy that supports the bodyâ�?�?s natural healing process.�?  Through didactic and experiential training, practitioners learn heart-centered ways to support and facilitate physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health.�? Healing Touch International provides accredited continuing education for nurses and other modalities, and is endorsed by the American Holistic Nursesâ�?�? Association. The Healing Touch Certificate Program is a multi-level course of study in energy-based therapy that moves from beginning to advanced practitioner and is complementary to health care. Level 1 allows persons with varying backgrounds to enter, acknowledge their previous learning and to further develop concepts and skills in energy-based therapy.
