Junior firefighter

Junior firefighter Isabel Cowles, 2-year-old daughter of Sarah and Dave Cowles of Vermillion, expresses pure delight as she sprays water from a Vermillion Fire Department pumper truck Wednesday, Oct. 1. The Vermillion Volunteer Fire Department hosted its annual open house that evening at the William J. Radigan Fire and EMS Station.
