McCurry is
player of the week Brad McCurry, a redshirt freshman on The University of South Dakota football team, has been named the Great West Conference Special Teams player of the week, the league announced. McCurry (RFr., Watauga, TX) had a big game on special teams for the Coyotes in their 37-18 loss at Montana State Saturday. McCurry recovered two fumbles ��? one off of a punt return and one off of a kick return ��? in Saturday��?s game. McCurry also had two special teams tackles. McCurry has seven tackles on special teams for USD this season. McCurry is the second Coyote player to be selected as a Great West player of the week. Earlier this season, Coyote receiver Dan Skelly (Jr., Champlin, MN) was named the GWC Offensive player of the week.
