Polls open at 7 a.m. election day The general election and municipal election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 4, in all the voting precincts in Clay County. The election polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. that day. The polling place in each precinct of this county is as follows: Rural Ward 1 (includes townships) Pleasant Valley/Garfield/Glenwood/Riverside, Southeastern SD Experimental Farm, 29974 University Road. Rural Ward 2 (includes townships) Star/Bethel/Wako-nda Town, Irene Town, Senior Citizens Center/Wakonda. Rural Ward 3 (includes townships) Pr. Center/Spirit Md/Meckling/Norway/Verm./Fairview, 4-H Center/Fairgrounds, 515 High St./Vermillion. Vermillion City: All Precincts, National Guard Armory, 603 Princeton St./Vermillion. At the city of Vermillion municipal election, the following question will be voted upon: Referred Measure: Title: An ordinance to make curbside recycling mandatory for all single family housing and multi-family housing of up to five units. Voters with disabilities may contact the county auditor��?s office for information and special assistance in absentee voting or polling place accessibility. A public demonstration of the tabulating equipment will be given Friday, Oct. 31 at 10 a.m. in the County Auditor��?s Office at 211 West Main, Vermillion.
