Pork producer training set There will be a Pork Quality Assurance (PQA Plus) training on Thursday, Oct. 30 at the Southeast Research Farm, five and a half miles west and two and three quarter miles south of Beresford. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. There is no cost for the training. PQA Plus training includes record keeping, tracking treated animals, vaccine and medication inventory, veterinarian/client/patient relationships, employee education, herd health plans, feed processing procedures, biosecurity and environmental stewardship. PQA Plus training is good for three years and is implemented and maintained by the National Pork Board. Educational training sessions are conducted by the Cooperative Extension Service.
