USD cross-country teams compete in Graphic Edge Invite The University of South Dakota women��?s cross country team won the 15th annual Graphic Edge Cross Country Invitational held Saturday at the Don Baker Cross Country Course in Vermillion.�? The Coyote women topped a field of 14 teams for the title, while the USD men placed fifth out of 15 teams at the meet, which was hosted by USD and Mount Marty College.�? Ramsey Fitzsimmons (Jr., Yankton) won the race for the Coyote women with a 5K time of 17:49. She is now 3-for-3 in home cross country meets this season. Kelsey Maloney (Sr., Sioux Falls) also had a big day for the Coyotes as she finished in fourth place overall with a time of 18:27.�? Rounding out the team scoring for USD were Jessica Lundgren (Sr.,�? Truman, MN) in 13th (19:20), Heather Kuhlman (Sr., Nebraska City, NE) in 15th (19:25) and Abby Duling (So., Gregory in 19th (19:34). On the men��?s side, the Coyotes were led by Rob Gregoire (Jr., Wakonda) who placed fifth with a time of 26:12. Next for USD was Sean Fitzsimmons (Jr., Yankton) in 20th place with a time of 26:57. Andrew Duba (So. Sioux Falls, SD) was close behind in 25th place after posting a time of 27:12. The final team scorers were Nick Beare (Fr., Sioux Falls) in 51st (28:01) and Matt Bump (So., Pierre) in 64th (28:23). The Coyote cross country teams will next be in action on Saturday Nov. 1, in Provo, UT at the Great West Conference meet.
