USD golf team
finishes in sixth place The University of South Dakota men��?s golf team finished sixth at the Colorado School of Mines/University of Nebraska-Kearney Invitational, which concluded Sunday in Sterling, CO. The Coyotes finished the 54-hole event with a team score of 918. Fort Lewis College won with 857. Jim Walsh (Jr., Sioux Falls) paced the Coyotes, finishing 12th overall with a three-round total of 219 (65-78-76). Kyle Scanlon (So., Stillwater, MN) finished 19th after having a solid score of 219 (75-72-79). Gavin Fawbush (So., Madison) finished at 235 (78-78-79) for USD, while Brett Bennett (Sr., Sioux Falls) added a 238 (83-79-76). Matt Campbell (Jr., Aberdeen) finished at 244 (83-80-81) for the final USD score.
