USD menâ�?�?s and womenâ�?�?s cross country teams have strong showings The University of South Dakota menâ�?�?s and womenâ�?�?s cross country teams had strong showings at the South Dakota State Classic held Saturday in Brookings. The Coyote women finished fourth out of 15 teams, while the men were sixth out of 14 teams. The USD women were led by Ramsey Fitzsimmons (Jr., Yankton) who took third place with a time of 17:42.�? Kelsey Maloney (Sr., Sioux Falls) was the second Coyote to finish as she ended in 20th place with a time of 18:48.�? Sarah Wickman (Jr., Iowa City, IA) wasnâ�?�?t far behind as she finished in 33rd place with a time of 19:10.�? Rounding out the scoring for the Coyotes were Heather Kuhlman (Sr., �? Nebraska City, NE) in 47th place and Jessica Lundgren (Sr., Truman, MN) in 59th place.�? The menâ�?�?s team also had a good day. Leading the way for USD was Rob Gregoire (Jr., Wakonda) who finished in 16th place with a time of 26:29.�? Next was Sean Fitzsimmons (Jr., Yankton) finishing in 27th place with a time of 26:53.�? Fitzsimmons was followed by Andrew Duba (So., Sioux Falls) in 68th place, Matt Bump (So., Pierre) in 69th and Nick Beare (Fr., Sioux Falls) in 73rd place.�? The Coyote cross country team will next be in action on Friday, Oct. 10 at the Tim Young Invitational on their home course in Vermillion. The meet will get underway at 4 p.m.
