Will celebrate 60th anniversary

Will celebrate 60th anniversary Irene and Duane Iverson of Palm Desert, CA will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house on Oct. 18 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Askeland Lounge at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Vermillion. Irene Danielson and Duane Iverson were married Oct. 17, 1948 at the Bergen Lutheran Church in Meckling. Their five children, Cinda (Dusty) Passick, Vermillion; Sharla (Craig) Nissen, Byron, MN; Rick Iverson, Volin; Glenda Iverson (Jerris Miles), Yankton; and Kevin (Kaye) Iverson, Rapid City, will host the event. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. The couple request no gifts.
