Ben Olsen, DPM Avera Sacred Heart Hospital is pleased to introduce podiatrist Ben Olsen, DPM, to the Yankton region. Dr. Olsen joined Dr. Terence Pedersen at Yankton Foot and Ankle Center/Avera on Monday, Nov. 3. An Iowa native, Dr. Olsen received his medical school education from Des Moines (Iowa) University and completed his residency at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, IA. Previously, Dr. Olsen was employed at Orthopaedic Consultants/Alvine Foot and Ankle Center, Sioux Falls. Dr. Olsen likes to specialize in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery with a special interest in foot and ankle trauma.
