First annual USD Basketball Media Day is Nov. 10 �? �? �?  With the season fast approaching for both of The University of South Dakota basketball teams, the first annual USD Basketball Media Day, is set for 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10 at the Al Neuharth Center on the USD campus. �? �? �?  The event is open to all media members and the public.�?  Refreshments will also be available. �? �? �?  The day will give the media and the public a chance to get a first-hand look at the 2008-09 USD menâ�?�?s and womenâ�?�?s basketball teams.�?  It will include remarks on the upcoming seasons by USD menâ�?�?s basketball head coach Dave Boots and USD womenâ�?�?s basketball head coach Ryun Williams. �? �? �?  In addition, players from both the Coyote menâ�?�?s and womenâ�?�?s basketball teams will be available for interviews, and USD basketball coaches Dave Boots and Ryun Williams will speak about the upcoming 2008-09 seasons. Those attending can also watch the USD womenâ�?�?s basketball team practice later that afternoon in the DakotaDome. �? �? �?  The Coyote men open their 2008-09 season with a pair of Division I opponents, playing at Cornell University of the Ivy League on Friday, Nov. 14 and then following that with a game at the University of Cincinnati of the Big East Conference on Sunday, Nov. 16. �? �? �?  The Coyote women open their 2008-09 season at home on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 1 p.m. against Northwest Missouri State. USD follows that with a home contest against Bemidji State on Sunday, Nov. 16. �? �? �?  The University of South Dakota is in its first year of NCAA Division I athletic competition. Itâ�?�?s an exciting time for both Coyote basketball teams as they embark on their first season of Division I play.
