Kabul Beauty School discussion at library On Thursday, Nov. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Community Room of the library, Deborah Rodriguez's book, Kabul Beauty School, is the featured selection for discussion of the Vermillion Public Library Book Club. Linda Wymar, a retired Vermillion Middle School teacher, will be facilitating this discussion open to all adults. Wymar lived in Kabul during the mid-60s and has traveled throughout the Middle East. Hot drinks and refreshments will be provided. Copies of this book about the founding of a beauty school in Kabul and of the cultural customers and friendships of the Afghan women, are available at the circulation desk.
