Livestock 4-H Club wins third place The Meckling Livestock 4-H Club won the third place community float award in the 2008 USD Dakota Days parade. The members brainstormed and came up with a great vision for their float; a huge TV with them playing football inside it to fit the "USD in HD" theme. The slogan they created was, "4-H: Leading U. to HD!" It all came together in an award-winning way. The club was also celebrating National 4-H Week, which was Oct. 5-11, with their float.
