check sobriety The South Dakota Highway Patrol has sobriety checkpoints scheduled for the month of December in the following counties: Bennett, Brown, Charles Mix, Codington, Custer, Davison, Day, Fall River, Hughes, Lawrence, Meade, McCook, Minnehaha, Moody, Pennington, Roberts, Sanborn, Spink and Yankton. In addition to detecting alcohol- or drug-impaired drivers, the Highway Patrol uses sobriety checkpoints to remind the public of the dangers of drinking and driving. �?
