VAST competes in Norfolk   The Vermillion Area Swim Team competed at the Jenna Krivohlavek Memorial Invitational in Norfolk, NE on Nov. 8.  VAST results:  8 and under Hunter Lavin – 25 Free, 7th; 25 Back, 8th.  Maddie Lavin – 25 Free, 3rd; 25 Back, 1st; 25 Fly, 2nd; 100 Free, 2nd; 100 IM, 1st.  9-10 Kate Brockevelt – 50 Free, 10th; 50 Back, 8th; 50 Breast, 11th; 100 Free, 9th. Anna Hackemer – 50 Free, 9th; 50 Back, 9th; 50 Breast, 7th; 100 Free, 10th. Lexie Malimanek – 50 Free, 3rd; 50 Back, 5th; 50 Fly, 7th; 100 Free, 6th. Madisen Martinez – 50 Free, 8th; 50 Back, 15th; 50 Breast, 5th; 50 Fly, 9th; 200 IM, 5th. Maggie Peterson – 50 Back, 11th. 200 Free Relay Madisen Martinez, Kate Brockevelt, Maggie Peterson, Maddie Lavin – 1st. The team will return to action on Nov. 22-23 at the Brookings Winter Invitational.
